From what I could remember, I loved to draw since I was a kid when I could hold a pencil in my hand. I draw every single day of my life, whether that be a project I am working on to complete, or just doodling in my notebook at school. Art is my life, and I cannot live without this lifeline. The reason that I love art so much is because I am right-brained - the creative side of the human mind. Not to brag or anything, but I think my creativity and imagination is a talent given to me by God for which I am forever thankful. Sometimes, a vivid and definite idea comes to mind, and I could put the idea, exactly as I imagined it, on paper. Often, I ponder about my own characters, such as their personalities, interactions with others, what they like and dislike, and other fun facts about them. I get lost inside the stories I create sometimes as I think about the setting, plot, conflict, climax, plot twist, and of course, the characters. If I think hard enough, I could almost hear them talking inside my head. I could hear what they sound like, how they speak, and the words they are saying. Oh, how I wish I could live in a fictitious world with everything just the way I want it.

 

Over the years as a freestyle artist, I came to a conclusion - art takes different shapes and forms, and only can someone truly understand the beauty of art if they embrace all aspects of it. Therefore, I decided to step outside my comfort zone and push myself to my upmost limit to try various styles of art.

 

Now, the six categories of art that I do are Chinese Painting, Oil Painting, Pastel Art, Colored Pencils, Sketches, and Others (markers, pens, etc.)
