Sketchbooks

I use different sketchbooks on different occasions, and as you can see, I have quite a collection of them. Personally, Drawing is my favorite type of sketchbook to draw in. I currently have two of them since I completely filled up the first one with all sorts of doodles and nonsense. The reason I like Drawing sketchbooks so much is that the surface of the paper is not too smooth or rough. They have the perfect balance in between, which I could outline with precision and sketch with a hint of wilderness. I usually draw and write about characters in sketchbooks as I like to stay organized with the abundant amount of characters I made up. Every day, after finishing with school work, I would open up my beloved sketchbook and dive into the world of make-belief. When I travel, I love to bring a sketchbook, preferably Sketch, with me everywhere I go because there are so many beautiful places and things in the world I want to draw, I simply cannot miss any good opportunities. The perfect backpack-sized sketchbook is 5.5 in. x 8.5 in. I have two of these as well, and inside, there are sketches from birds of all kinds to beaches and rocks. I Also drew some Pokemon concepts because I love making fake Pokemons. Ever wonder what type of paper I use to draw soft pastel art? I use - Pastel Paper! They are quite rare and expensive, and Micheal's is the only store I know that sells them. I managed to get my hand on four of them before they ran out. Without Pastel Paper, I would have no clue what to use my pastels on as other types of paper do NOT work at all! They would leave a huge mess, and I'm saying this from experience. Mixed Media is another amazing sketchbook because it allows the artist to be as creative as possible. You could use markers, pens, colored pencils, and pretty much every other drawing utensil. The only exceptions are paints, and of course, pastels. There are one of the only sketchbooks that allow coloring. When I feel like using brush pens (they are super satisfying to color with), Mixed Media is my top pick. Another sketchbook that I have, but don't use often, is Colored Pencils. As the name suggests, to get the best effect when drawing with colored pencils is to use this sketchbook. I would love to try, but school keeps me busy, and time grew wings to out-speed us - as if our lives are not short enough already.
